Given the upcoming retirement of the Site Manager, they are looking to strengthen the team with a:

Account Manager (Team Lead – Antwerp site)

Function

In this team lead role, you will be responsible for the operational management of the Supplimax department in Antwerp. You will report directly to the owner.

Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Account Manager (Team Lead): You coach a team of two internal sales employees and are responsible for active customer management and prospecting. You are regularly present on the shop floor at the Antwerp site to support them with advice and guidance.
  • Sales (customer visits): 50% to 65% of your time is spent visiting customers. You visit existing customers to further expand their product range and at the same time build new customer relationships.
  • Commercial growth: One-third of your role involves farming (further developing existing customers), and two-thirds involves hunting (acquiring new customers). You are responsible for driving the company’s continued commercial growth.

Requirements

  • You have commercial flair and can build strong relationships.
  • You are eager to be active in the field yourself.
  • You possess coaching skills. Your leadership style motivates your team members!
  • You are eager to learn and quickly familiarize yourself with our product range.
  • You have a solid technical foundation, especially regarding mechanical components, which enables you to advise customers in a targeted and knowledgeable manner.
  • Experience in the MRO sector (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) is a plus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch. A professional command of English is highly recommended.
  • You are familiar with ERP systems.
  • You are team-oriented and take initiative.
  • You have strong communication skills.
