International Business Developer (Power Generators)
Function
As a Business Developer (Power Generators), you are part of the sales team and report to the General Manager. You act as a point of contact between the company’s sales team and customers. You provide information and coordinate service, maintenance, and repairs related to the purchased equipment.
- Preparing technical files and commercial proposals (technical feasibility, quotations). You work accurately and provide tailor-made offers to the customer.
- Negotiating with customers about the terms of the sales agreement.
- Achieving annual sales and profit targets by developing new opportunities in Belgium (Benelux) through independent travel and customer visits, as well as maintaining and expanding existing accounts.
- Managing the sales pipeline through a CRM system (Odoo) for predictable revenue generation, prioritization, and forecasting.
- Defining the target audience and creating your own strategy, including leading proof-of-concept and ROI initiatives.
- Giving presentations to large groups to strengthen market visibility and expand the customer base.
- Always taking into account quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- You have a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You are energized by acquiring new customers—active prospecting does not scare you!
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a technical B2B salesperson.
- Knowledge of power and/or emergency generators or similar products is a plus.
- You have experience with ERP and CRM systems and possess good knowledge of MS Office.

- You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
