From its headquarters in the Lille region, the company has built a strong market position, supported by a distinctive business model, a proven operational approach, and well-established procedures.

The foundations are firmly in place: the organization is structured, day-to-day operations are running smoothly, and the company is ready to enter its next phase of international growth.

In addition to further organic development, a concrete M&A project is currently in the pipeline, offering additional growth opportunities and prospects.

To realize these ambitions, the founder intends to focus entirely on the further commercial expansion of the business, with a strong emphasis on sales, business development, customer relationships, and the development of new markets and opportunities.

Therefore, our client is seeking an entrepreneurial and operationally strong professional who, as a working partner and right-hand person to the founder, will share responsibility for the further management and professionalization of the company.

Managing Partner – Operations Manager (Operations & Finance)

Function

The goal of this role is to sustainably scale the company’s operational structure. From the headquarters in the Lille region (and/or the Strasbourg region), you will help build the structure, capabilities, and organization required to support this growth on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities:

  • As the managing partner, you contribute to shaping the company’s strategic direction and take the lead in its day-to-day operations. You gain a thorough understanding of the business model, analyze financial performance and operational processes, and translate your insights into concrete improvements, such as the implementation of digital tools and other optimization initiatives.
  • You strengthen financial management and provide clear visibility into cash flow, profitability, and growth opportunities. You develop practical financial reporting, support investment decisions with sound analysis, and help safeguard the company’s financial balance during its continued expansion.
  • At the same time, you critically assess how the business operates. Where can processes be simplified, improved, or aligned more effectively? You introduce structure, remove bottlenecks, and ensure that the organization can handle increased volumes. You actively involve employees in the change process and follow through until improvements deliver tangible results in daily operations.
  • Together with the founder, you define the priorities for the next stage of growth. You assess acquisition and merger opportunities, make strategic choices, and turn plans into action. In doing so, you combine a long-term vision with a hands-on approach and a willingness to lead by example.

Requirements

  • You hold at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a specialization in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • You have relevant professional experience within the service sector.
  • You possess a solid financial foundation and relevant experience in finance, business operations, or supporting business growth.
  • You know how to analyze, improve, and scale business processes.
  • Your leadership skills enable you to motivate and inspire team members.
  • You combine strategic insight with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
  • You take ownership, are comfortable making decisions, and feel responsible for achieving shared results.
  • You communicate clearly and are able to gain support for change initiatives.
  • You are willing to actively contribute to building the company from the Lille region.
  • You work independently, take initiative, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • You have a strong affinity with Flemish SMEs and entrepreneurs.
  • You communicate fluently and professionally in both French and Dutch. Knowledge of English and/or German is considered an asset.
  • You are willing to actively contribute to building the company from the Lille region.
