Given their continued growth, we are looking to strengthen the VIKA-team with a:

Planning Engineer

Function

  • You process incoming quote requests and orders into accurate production orders using the available software system. 
  • You develop in-depth product knowledge and combine this with a thorough analysis of customer orders to assess whether the customer’s expectations are technically feasible. 
  • You are in direct contact with the customer (by phone) and coordinate internally with production managers, purchasing planners, and your fellow colleagues of the planning department.

Requirements

  • You hold an engineering degree (in chemistry, construction, or mechanics) or have equivalent experience.
  • Reading technical plans and having spatial insight are essential basic skills.
  • You are an analytical thinker!
  • You are detail-oriented and work in a structured manner.
  • You are verbally fluent in Dutch/French.
  • You are customer-focused.
  • You can work independently!
  • You think proactively and take initiative.
