Plant Manager (an excellent people manager with vision)
Function
As Plant Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the plant located in Hainaut. You report directly to the General Manager Benelux.
Your responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Managing and optimizing production, logistics, planning, maintenance, and administrative processes
- Monitoring quality, safety, and permits
- Initiating, developing, and implementing (technical) investment projects and developments
People Management
- Creating engagement, team spirit, and a positive safety culture
- Acting as a coaching, distinctive people manager
Commercial Mindset: Contributing to customer approaches and operational solutions
Business Intelligence
- Managing and monitoring financial data and cash flows via ERP systems, with a view to accurate business intelligence (on a monthly and quarterly basis)
- You represent the plant at group level and communicate in a diplomatic and constructive manner, supported by strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- You hold a higher education degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or are equivalent through experience.
- You have relevant, hands-on leadership experience in a production environment. Experience in the circular sector is a strong asset.
- Your coaching leadership style motivates people.
- You communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You are diplomatic and communicatively strong, with the ability to professionally represent the plant at group level.
- You have professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English. Knowledge of German is an asset.
- You possess strong analytical skills and are able to maintain an overall overview.
- You take ownership of the plant and think in terms of solutions.
- You are known as a persevering and creatively minded professional.
