Introduction
Our client is an innovative and successful company located on the Roeselare–Kortrijk axis. They operate internationally as a developer of robotics and digital applications.
They are looking for a robot commissioning engineer.
Function
You will be part of a team of 3 colleagues and will be responsible for releasing interim processes as well as the final delivery of various types of projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Start up robotic installations and complete all prescribed test procedures.
- Perform partial quality control on previously executed mechanical processes.
- Grant release for the progression of the remaining production process.
- Start up MT Matic PRO and SLIM so they can be initialised and delivered to the internal customer (installers and starters in the field).
- Start up MT Collect and Kiosk.
- Declare MT-Vision screens.
- Configure routers, switches, climate packs, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Document activities in procedures and work instructions.
Requirements
Education and experience:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics/automation.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in industrial automation, machine construction, or manufacturing.
Technical skills:
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming (for troubleshooting and hardware configuration).
- Knowledge of MS Office and configuration of IP settings.
- Basic understanding of electrical control systems: sensors, frequency drives, stepper and servo motors.
- Mechanical insight: positioning guide systems, conveyor belts.

- You have strong communication skills.
- You have a strong commitment to quality.
- You have good command of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
